Our dedicated Work-Related Training team works with businesses and individuals all over Cheshire, North Staffs and North Shropshire to provide flexible, affordable and high quality training in a wide range of skills and professions.

This includes:

Providing Apprenticeship training
Running part-time and short courses, especially in areas such as first aid and food hygiene, which are required by law
Work-based qualifications, including NVQ Certificates and Diplomas.
Offering professional qualifications across a wide range of occupations, including Accounting, Business Management, Construction and Engineering
Developing bespoke training to meet your specific business requirements

World-Class Delivery Of Learning

At South Cheshire College we are proud of the standards we have achieved and maintain in the provision of learning for all our students, whether they are employees being trained in the workplace or school-leavers being taught in the classroom.

We received an Outstanding Grade 1 report from Ofsted in our most recent inspection, across all areas of the College, following on from country-topping Ofsted inspections in 2004 and 1999.

The College's standards are also reflected in the fact that since 2004 we have been a Beacon College. This Learning and Skills Beacon status recognises excellent institutions that deliver high quality teaching and learning and are well led and managed to share that good practice with others. Since this award we have shared our best practice with colleges across the country and from a number of other countries, including Germany, Ireland and Libya.

The College also holds the British Standards Institution ISO 9001: 2000 standard - a standard which many businesses will be familiar with and which confirms that the College's systems and procedures meet BSI's rigorous quality standards.

Most recently, the College became a patron of South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCCI), which represents businesses in the Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Middlewich and Alsager areas. The combination of our range of work-related training programmes and SCCCI's expertise should help local businesses continue to go from strength to strength in the future.
