Students studying at South Cheshire College have access to some of the best resources. VLE stands for virtual learning environment which delivers learning at any time, to any computer with an internet connection. This means that teachers and students can communicate at any time and a wide range of learning styles can be catered for.
Resources can become available for those who cannot always travel to campus; for example lecture notes and presentations. Students can prepare for examinations using extra resources available on The VLE and there are further study aids for those who want to enhance their understanding of a particular topic.
The VLE is available to all staff and students enrolled at South Cheshire College and can be accessed by following the link below:
*South Cheshire College now allows access to our library catalogue so students can access electronic books, high quality electronic journals, newspapers, databases and video libraries (such as the Montie* health and safety video collection). Select OpenAthens Login to enter the resources (this requires a SCC network username and password).
Students can also review details of their library account via Member Services allowing renewal and reservation of library items. A College ID number and date of birth (in the format DDMMYY eg. 230296) will be required.
To access your college email account whilst away from campus, just click on the button below. You will be asked for your username and password, which are those that you normally use when logging onto a college computer, however please insert 'scc\' in front of your username (eg. scc\j-bloggs).
