It's Thirsty Work As College Launches Costa Coffee Outlet
The Costa Coffee branded Reading Lounge is now officially open for staff and students and is the perfect place to take a well earned break at any time of the day.
A full range of drinks and snacks are available at the new outlet, on the ground floor of the College Library, which will deliver Costa's 'Proud to Serve' brand.
The glass enclosed facility is away from the hustle and bustle of the main college but library goers can still enjoy peace and quiet outside the café.
Costa Coffee helped to launch the new café on Wednesday 12th September by offering free taster samples for staff and students to try including iced coffees, fruit coolers, cakes and biscuits.
Emma Smith, Regional Account Manager for Costa Coffee, came to the launch event and was very pleased with the response.
Emma said: "It's fantastic to see so many staff and students using this new facility already.
"It's a great opportunity for staff and students to come and enjoy the Costa Coffee brand on campus and see what we've got to offer.
"The launch event was also a chance to promote the new Costa Coffee 'Impulse' snack range which is currently available on the high street and includes lots of tasty treats and gluten free products."
There are four café outlets on the College campus, which serve everything from hot and cold snacks to hot and cold drinks, but this new venue gives staff and students an excellent alternative option.
Mandy Malam, Retail Operations Manager at South Cheshire College, said: "We are delighted to be linking up with a fantastic brand such as Costa Coffee.
"We've always had the Reading Lounge cafe on the ground floor of the Library, but the fact that it is now an enclosed space makes it a much more welcoming environment for people to take a break.
"We are looking forward to working with Costa Coffee in the future and promoting its range of products and services.
"Hopefully, staff and students will come and take advantage of this great new facility."
