South Cheshire College has a well established reputation as a highly successful college and is assessed as "outstanding" by Ofsted. The College has a magnificent £74 million campus which opened in September 2010 providing state-of-the-art facilities for our students, staff and the wider community.

The College serves a wide geographical area covering South Cheshire, North Staffordshire and North Shropshire, with some 3100 full-time and 1500 part-time students and a turnover of £23 million. Our range of provision is very broad, covering both academic and vocational pathways from Entry Level to Honours degree level. The College has recently developed a wide range of Apprenticeship pathways and support for employers.

We are looking to appoint a senior post-holder to this key position, providing strategic leadership and planning for Finance, Management Information Systems, Human Resources and Estates.

You will be a qualified accountant with experience of working in a senior role, ideally in a Further Education or similar environment. You will have the necessary leadership and management skills and abilities to direct and support staff working in other disciplines within your remit and to contribute to the strategic direction of the College as a member of the Senior Management Team.

Interviews are proposed for the week commencing 12th March 2012.
