Do you have difficulty finding someone to look after your child
when school finishes?Perhaps the After School services offered by South Cheshire College's Child Care Centre will be able to help.
OUT OF SCHOOL is a package of childcare services aimed at serving the needs of primary school children and their parents. Held at South Cheshire's Child Care Centre, children are supervised and cared for by fully trained staff in a purpose-designed environment at our new premises on Dane Bank Avenue.
Grouped roughly by age and by their interests, children are able to participate in sports, creative activities including painting and simple cookery, project work, computing, story telling and much more. There is always something to do - or a quiet corner in which to doze, play or read a book.
During term time, primary school children are welcome between 3.00pm and 6.00pm. They will be offered tea, and they are able to take part in a wide range of physical, creative and quiet time activities. Space is provided for those who have homework to complete; and there is a vast collection of age-appropriate games and equipment (including computers, TV/video and audio equipment) for them to enjoy.
When possible, children can be collected from their school by a member of the nursery staff on foot. Like all children in our care, they will only be permitted to leave the Child Care Centre with their parents/carers or other designated adults.
