FEFC Inspection Report 1999 Background Information: FEFC Inspection Process

All 440 further education colleges in England were incorporated in 1993 and were subsequently inspected by the FEFC. South Cheshire College was inspected in 1995-6. This latest inspection of South Cheshire College in February 1999 is part of the FEFC's second round of inspections since incorporation. So far, in this second round of inspections, 152 colleges have been inspected. 105 of these are general FE and tertiary colleges, the category to which South Cheshire College belongs.
