HOW TO ENROL

Part-Time Courses

Tow Adult Education students laughing

These are the steps to follow to enrol on a course

  1. Find the course that interests you - by looking through the Course List and checking that the course details match what you are looking for.
  2. If you need further advice and guidance - come to see us
Advice and guidance is available from our teaching staff at all the sessions listed on the Enrolment page. You could also contact the Information Centre on +44 (0)1270 654654 for further information about our courses.

Some courses do not offer online enrolment, and this means that you MUST come to an advice and guidance session to be approved for the course by a member of the teaching team, prior to enrolling. This is usually the case where there are entry requirements needed, such as prior qualifications, before you can start the course.

  3. Enrol - online or in person
Many courses offer online enrolment; they have an enrol online button on the course information page. After pressing the button follow the simple steps to enrol and make your payment.

Alternatively, you can fill in an enrolment form when you are at a Enrolment, Advice and Guidance session, hand it in and pay the relevant course/enrolment fee. If no online enrolment is available for your course, then you will need to follow this step.

Please note that if you believe that you are entitled to a fee remission for your course, you must bring with you evidence of the benefits you are receiving when you enrol.

International students wishing to undertake part-time courses

The 2010-11 fee for part-time courses for students classed as 'overseas' is £10 per hour up to a maximum of £4500 per year. Please bring your passport with you to enrolment in order for us to confirm your fee status as an overseas student.

Please be aware that these part-time courses are only open to international students who are already living in the UK; you cannot obtain a student visa to come to the UK to study a part-time programme.

Full-Time Courses

To apply for full-time courses simply follow the steps below:

  1. Choose your course and send us your completed hand-written or on-line application form as soon as possible. Application forms can be collected from the College Welcome Desk or be requested by contacting the Information Centre on +44 (0)1270 654654.
  2. When we receive your application you'll receive a postcard from us to say your application is being processed.
  3. You will receive a letter inviting you to meet one of the course team leaders and attend an informal interview at the College. Interviews take place from December through to August.
  4. Based on your interview, we will send you a provisional offer letter.
  5. You will then be sent a date and time to enrol on the course, just prior to its start in September.

Please contact Admissions on +44 (0)1270 654654 if you have any queries
