2010-11 Academic year is the final year of EMA being available to students, following the decision by the government to close the scheme.

From September 2011 onwards there will no longer be an EMA grant available, but the College will receive a small amount of funding to help support the most financially disadvantaged students. More information about how to apply for this support will be given once details of the funding are confirmed.

For existing students in receipt of EMA, you will continue to receive payments until the end of 2010-11 academic year, subject to you meeting the eligibility criteria, such as your weekly attendance at college.
