The South Cheshire College offers a wide variety of A-Levels but not only this; we offer high quality vocational programmes as well as superb opportunities through our apprenticeship scheme.
In the latest Ofsted report, South Cheshire College was named as OUTSTANDING after receiving top judgments in all areas inspected areas. Inspectors commented that;
"In its inspection in 2004 South Cheshire College was judged to be one of the highest performing Further Education Colleges in the country and subsequent monitoring inspection visits have confirmed its capacity to maintain this standard."
"South Cheshire College is outstanding in all aspects of its provision. Achievement and standards are outstanding. There are consistently high success rates particularly on long courses at levels 2 and 3, where they exceed the national average by more than 10%."
"The quality of teaching and learning is outstanding. Learners make excellent progress and are encouraged to achieve highly through challenging targets. Support and guidance for learners is also outstanding."
All students are supported all the way through their studies and from week one you are assigned a Personal Development Tutor who you will meet with once a week. You and your PDT will set targets and minimum acceptance grades for all aspects of your college work. We are dedicated to ensuring that all students fulfil their potential and we are very proud of the support system we have in place.
