Helping You Succeed in Business

South Cheshire College Employer Training

Employer Training being carried out in the collegeAt South Cheshire College, we believe that the relationship we develop with local employers should have both short and long-term benefits to the local employment market.

In the short term we can deliver effective training solutions that will develop your employees and help to improve your business performance. Some of these training solutions have the added benefit of being government-subsidised, meaning that you could update the skills of your employees at low or no cost to your business, making this a great investment in your most valuable asset - your people.

We also aim to work closely with employers to understand local economic needs and the longer-term skills requirements of the region's workforce. This input is used to determine what we teach our full-time students, to improve their 'work-readiness' and employability in the future.

Go to 'How Can We Help?' for more information about what we can do to improve your business.

World-Class Delivery Of Learning

At South Cheshire College we are justifiably proud of the standards we have achieved and continue to maintain in the provision of learning for all our students, whether they are employees being trained in the workplace or school-leavers being taught in the classroom.

During our most recent Ofsted Inspection in 2008, we received a Grade 1 Outstanding report across all the areas inspected. This follows on from country-topping Ofsted inspections in 2004 and 1999, demonstrating that our high standards are not just a flash in the pan, but the result of years of consistent hard work to ensure we provide the best possible learning experience for our students.

The College's standards are also reflected in the fact that since 2004 we have been a Beacon College. This Learning and Skills Beacon status recognises excellent institutions that deliver high quality teaching and learning and are well led and managed to share that good practice with others. Since this award we have shared our best practice with colleges across the country and from a number of other countries, including Germany, Ireland and Libya.

You can be assured that whatever your training requirement, the College will deliver the learning, on site or in the work place, to our consistent standard of excellence.
